process engineer
Your Function
As Process Engineer you will provide support & deliver solutions for multiple projects, as well in Consultancy Services and Design & Build activities. You will be working in a young and dynamic environment and quickly gain real responsibilities. On top of your general activities as set out below, you will have the opportunity to specialize in various domains such as process design, process implementation and automation in the fields of water and energy technology. You will enjoy coaching, training and courses to further develop your skills. Moreover, you share your knowledge and skills with your team and coach junior colleagues.
In general, you will:
- Be involved in a wide range of commercial and operational activities within different types of projects;
- Be responsible for process design and calculation, mass and heat balances, PFDs, P&IDs and other technical documents;
- Be responsible for commissioning, start-up and optimisation of plants;
- Perform audits on existing plants, and analyse problems with processes and equipment;
- Lead and support research and development initiatives, such as laboratory testing and pilot testing;
- Prepare price calculations (including price requests to suppliers) and commercial proposals;
- Create presentations, notes and reports linked to the projects;
- Plan your projects and daily operations in collaboration with all stakeholders;
- Look for opportunities to optimize current processes throughout your projects.
Your Profile
- You have a Master’s degree with a process engineering background;
- You have an excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken. French is a plus;
- You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
- You already have knowledge and experience in one of the following areas: water treatment, wastewater treatment, membrane filtration, energy recuperation, steam processes, etc;
- You are passionate about technology, innovation and sustainability;
- You are communicative and a true team player;
- You are motivated and eager to learn;
- You are capable to work on different domains simultaneously;
- You are flexible, reliable and detail oriented, you work in a structured way and have a pro-active mindset;
- You can independently plan and manage your priorities and daily operations.
